For those that are new to the band, this is an overview of what the boosters do for the music program, for everyone else it is just a reminder.
Another school year is underway and with it comes many Booster Activities. All parents and guardians are encouraged to be an active part of the boosters.
Our goal is to provide up-to-date information about the music program to parents and guardians. Let’s start with some basic information.
- The Henryville Music Program spends approximately $30,000 per year and receives $2,000 from the school budget. The rest of the money is raised by the Band Boosters.
- What is the Band Boosters Organization? Our group consists of anyone interested in the progress of and the development of the Music Department at our school. The Henryville Band Boosters are the main financial support of the music program (including band, chorus and guard).
- How do the Band Boosters raise money? We raise money by having various fundraisers during the year. Our main fundraisers are the Spring Swing, Yard Sales and Road Blocks. We are always on the look out for new and different fundraisers.
- How do students get money in their student accounts? Students also participate in fundraisers. Profits from student fundraisers are split half to the students account and half to the Boosters. All fundraisers done by the Music Department are run through the Band Boosters Account.
We are always looking for new ideas and help. Please come and help us support our musical students.
